The Society of Feed technologists (SFT) is committed to safeguarding and preserving the privacy of its members and website visitors.

This Privacy Policy explains what happens to any personal data that you provide, or that is collected from you whilst you visit the site.

When you register as a member The Society of Feed Technologists only stores your personal information on its website or database:
• which is required for completing conference and event bookings,
• membership subscriptions
• and for the emailing of newsletters about the Society, its events, the Edgar Pye Scholarship
• and the events and scholarships of organisations closely related to farm animal production.

When you register for membership you will be asked if you are willing to give your consent for the use of your data as described above.

You will be able to access the information held via your membership account on the SFT website.

You may transfer your data held by the SFT for your purposes.

The SFT does not share member’s data with third parties.

The personal data of those whose membership has not been renewed will be retained for 12 calendar months following the end of the membership year which is 31st December.

Members are entitled to revoke their membership upon emailed instructions to the secretary ( and personal data will be deleted within 28 days of these instructions.

Access to personal data is given only to the Secretary and Treasurer of the SFT to enable them to perform their duties in running the Society. The Secretary is responsible for data protection.
